Check in 0900 – $30 match fee – Multiple Stages – Variety of targets
Two Divisions, Bolt gun, and Sem-Auto Rifle made prior to 1945 (shotgun and handgun will fall under either overall division). A list of the most common and some not so common rifles would include: M1 Garand, 1903/1917 Springfield, 30/40 Krag, M1941 Johnson Rifle, Browning BAR, M1 Carbine, Thompson machine gun (no burst allowed). Standard Pump shotguns allowed. Example sidearms include Webley and Nagant Revolvers, 1911s, Lugers, Walthers. Any reproduction firearms are allowed, so long as they meet the requirements of, “staying in the spirt” of the match and have standard mag capacity. No race guns or highly modified firearms. Period uniforms of any country or military are also highly encouraged!
For those who do not own a vintage firearm, the following will be on site for those who want to compete: Mosin Nagant, (7.62x54R), a 1895 Mauser (rechambered in 308 Win.), Remington 870, CMP 1911 and a M1 Garand (Garand specific ammo required). If competitors wish to shoot these, contact the Match Director Christopher Gillis via Faceboook or by phone 205.863.6323 in advance.
